Students over 26 years of age, will have to purchase Health Insurance from the National Health Insurance House (CNAS) paying 90 Pounds per year.

Can a Student Organise Medical Insurance for Medicine Study in Romania through the University

Additionally, students can access the Romanian university’s medical services by just showing their valid Student ID card for the current academic year.

Is the European Health Insurance Card Valid during Medicine Study in Romania

Students that hold a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) such as EU residents are able to use their card in Romania. Use is consistent with their existing EU country of residence or citizenship. Non-EU students are not able to use the EHIC card.
