Medical Insurance Requirements in Ukraine

International students attending medical universities in Ukraine will need to purchase medical insurance. Before arriving in Ukraine, you will need to ensure that you have adequate health insurance coverage during your trip. Foreigners are required by law to buy emergency medical insurance before entering Ukraine. Medical insurance will be issued during the process of your registration with the Ukrainian Medical University, valid for one (1) year and with the possibility of being prolonged on an annual basis.
